Who We Are
Hashmeta builds technology that helps brands get found, cited and recommended wherever customers search: on Google, in AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini, on social platforms like Xiaohongshu and TikTok, and through the creators they trust. Headquartered in Singapore, we combine AI technology, proprietary data and our own network of audience platforms to make brands the answer.
Hashmeta was founded in 2012 by Terrence Ngu and Monica Zhuang. From the start, the company built its own platforms rather than relying only on others, beginning with StarNgage and Skoolopedia in 2014 and later ShopperCliq.
Today, customers ask AI for recommendations before they search, scroll or buy. To meet that shift, Hashmeta works hand in hand with Hashmeta AI, a standalone company founded by the same team, whose platform measures and improves how AI engines see a brand.
