Instagram has made a move into the e-commerce space by adding an option to buy products shown in posts by selected brands without you leaving the app.
Called “Checkout”, this new instant purchasing feature combines the social space and e-commerce, and has launched in a beta version of the app in the US with a limited number of businesses, including Adidas, Burberry, Dior, H&M, Nike, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, and Warby Parker.
